Who We are:

The Grind is an open mic that caters to the Urban Professions weekly, providing a space for cultural exchange and community building on Wednesdays from 7 to 9:30 at Urban Grind 962 Marietta St. Atl. GA 30318

What we do:

We inspire, empower and uplift others to be the best individuals they possibly can be by at first learn how to express themselves through poetry or musical forms of expression.

Why we do it:

Because we care about the future of Atlanta’s underground Poetry and Music scene and we desire to draw value and re-establish the sense of community among Atlanta’s Artists and lovers of the Arts.

How we go about it:

With this weekly open mic we bring very diverse artists in our space to do workshops and feature as well as promote to a very broad and diverse audience. We are adding Video and pictures to keep record of our efforts as well as a faith that our work should be supported by the community through donations to keep a gradual respect for the work of the artists and to teach the fans that this art form is worth its pay.
